Golf organizer, assembly instructions
Sturdy golf organizer with room for just about everything!Reviewed by Riverdale Rob, 2010-02-02
So I also read other buyers' reviews and for the most part I think
they were accurate. The organizer came in a sturdy, well packaged
box. Mine was basically free of any damage (maybe a small scratch
or dent to the mesh sides but pretty insignificant).
The instructions are pretty sparse but you can figure it out easily
enough if you lay everything out and read through the 3 pages
before starting. I assembled it alone and it wasn't the easiest
thing to do - a second set of hands would have been helpful. But I
DID do it alone in about 50 minutes. One lesson learned that I
highly suggest: don't tighten any of the screws too much as you're
assembling the base & sides, just enough to keep it together.
This gives you some slack as you add and align the other pieces.
Tighten everyhting AFTER you've assembled all the body parts.
One small complaint: each piece has a # and, I think, there's
supposed to be a small sticker on each part with that number on it.
Mine was missing some and - of course - I did end up using the
wrong back panel the first time I assembled the base. A small issue
that was corrected pretty quickly but something to bear in mind
before you start.
The organizer looks good, fits in my spare room nicely and, most
important, it holds a lot of stuff! I neatly placed 4 pairs of
shoes in the two lower shelves (no, not side by side, stacked on
top of each other), a few spare towels, accessories, tools and
about 4 dozen balls in the top compartment. Now I don't think I'd
call it a 2 bag organizer exactly, certainly not if you have Cart
Bags only. It probably does fit 2 small carry bags however. But
again, I don't consider that a complaint; if you read the
dimensions before purchasing you should be able to tell if your
bags will fit.
All in all I am very satisfied with this item and would recommend
it for use in either a spare room or garage.
Very Satisfied CustomerReviewed by Robert Rudolf, 2009-11-02
When ordering the Suncast G03216 Golf Organizer I was concerned
about comments from other customers stating that it was a two man
job to put the Organizer together. I put the Organizer together in
about an hour by myself. I put the Organizer together on a waist
high work bench which I felt made the job alot easier. The
Organizer is alot sturdier and heavier than the picture shows. I
feel I made a very good purchase which was exactly what I needed to
keep my golf equipment together in my garage. The Organizer was
received within a few days of the order which was what was promised
in the ad. The weight of the package was quite heavy which to me
was a positive sign indicating that the Organizer is made of sturdy
metal. I highly recommend this product, it's looks good, it's very
sturdy and easy to put together.

Great organizer for golf equipmentReviewed by C. Johnson, 2009-09-12
This organizer was just what I wanted. I needed a little help (and another pair of hands) to put it together. It is sturdy and fits neatly into a space I had set aside in the garage. The shelves are handy for balls, gloves, shoes, etc. I am glad I purchased this item.
Pretty much as describedReviewed by G. Grote, 2009-07-30
Overall, I like it, but there were a few flaws, and it's not quite
as useful as it could be ... thus four stars instead of five.
I put it in the corner of my garage and it looks nice. I have a
cart bag and a few extra clubs, umbrellas, etc., all of which sit
quite nicely in the left side.
I can get two pairs of shoes in the bottom shelf if I stack them
atop each other. Only one pair in the second shelf, but I only have
three pairs, so that's just right. The third shelf is good for golf
balls ... room for several dozen. The top shelf will serve well as
a general junk hamper because it has a bottom and four sides.
All of that is well and good, and it would have been nearly perfect
if it would have also had room for extra stuff ... hats, towels,
extra head covers ... and that sort of stuff. I may put some hooks
on the wall above the unit for that.
Assembly was fine ... no problems, and no extra tools required (two
hex keys included). The gage of the metal is adequate, but I think
it should have been a bit better for something that costs $70+, and
there is a crease in the mesh in one area (alhtough it is not
noticeable when in use) ... otherwise, I found the product quality
(fit, finish, etc.) to be good. One of the pieces of foam trim was
not installed correctly so I'll have to get some double-sided tape
to reinstall it, but I consider that a very minor issue.
I had considered building one out of wood but decided to take the
easy way out. All-in-all, I'm happy I have this unit, but if I had
it to do all over again I would probably build one so that I could
get exact what I want for the same or less money.
Great Dad giftReviewed by K. Townley, 2009-06-22
This was shipped immediately and came very quickly. The stand is in my garage and fits in such a way that we didn't have to change our parking patterns. It's great! Keeps things neat and out of the way. My husband loves that all his golf stuff is together and he doesn't have to search for anything.
